We started the year off with a literal BANG, of the drums!

Local artist and 'sound hunter' Lorenzo Tebano led the children on a fascinating sound journey, with lots of listening (including through specially made sound cones!), dancing and experimenting with different musical instruments.

Through listening to different music from all over the world, the kids were transported to many interesting places, including (according to them) - a jungle, the ocean, a farm, a desert and under a waterfall!

This project will culminate in a live performance of instruments that the children will have made themselves from found and re-claimed materials, as part of our International Roma Day 2022 celebrations!

We can't wait to see what they come up with!
